This fall, the Ancora Quartet is delighted to welcome back violist Melissa Snell. For our fall program we will also be joined by pianist Vincent deVries, who is on the faculty at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. On the program will be two of the most famous piano quintets ever written, the Robert Schumann quintet in E-flat major, op. 44, and the Johannes Brahms quintet in F minor, op. 34.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to experience these two great masterpieces performed live, particularly by these performers: the Ancora Quartet has been performing together for a quarter of a century, and Dr. deVries is a collaborative pianist of the highest level.
We cannot wait to perform for you! See the complete schedule of performances here.
